Normally when one thinks of open relationships many adjectives come to mind. I want to introduce some new adjectives. Clear, ordered, creative, evolved.
1) Monogamy 2) Polyamory 3) Open 4) Transcendental
Each colour has its own language and way of expression. Each colour embraces the one before it.
{{{Monogamy} Polyamory} Open} Transcendental.
In Monogamy the commitment is Physical. In Polyamory, the commitment is Emotional. In Being Open, the commitment is mental. In Transcendental, the commitment is Spiritual.
Commitments are not necessarily reciprocal but can be.
Whenever relationships are mixed the higher commitment applies.
Each dyad has to decide on the metaphysics of the Relationship.
The distinguishing characteristic between polyamory and Open is that within Open there are no fixed boundaries. Whereas in Polyamory the boundaries are fixed.
